1st Swim- Memorial Day 2008

On Memorial Day we went to Uncle Vincent and Aunt Lauren's house and Jake went swimming for the very first time. He wasn't sure what to think at first and the water was a little cold, but after a few minutes he started smiling and laughing.

Jake and Rex

Jake rolled right up to Rex to play. Rex licked his hands and then rested his head on Jake to cuddle. They're becoming good friends.

Jake loves Rex! Whenever Rex walks by, Jake reaches for him. When he gets close enough to hug/grab him, he just starts cracking up.

Watch me roll over and over...and over!

Mothers Day 2008

Steve took these pictures of Jake and I playing in the grass on Mother's Day. He's so ticklish!

Hanging out with Daddy and watching cousin Landon play soccer in the yard.

Dinner with cousins

Shannon, Roy, Lee and Savannah came to visit in April. We went to Aunt Karen's house for dinner and Jake was in awe of the big boys, Roy and Lee. He had a great time watching them play with their toys.

1st Easter

For Easter, Jake got a toy duck that when you touched would dance and sing "You are my Sunshine". He loves it! He will just stare at while it plays, but once the song is over he looks at you and starts laughing.

He also got the cutest Nemo fish toy for the
bathtub. Here is showing Great-Grandma Shirley his new toy.

St. Patricks Day 2008

This was Jake's second time ever eating rice cereal. Steve was feeding him and he was so excited. I love this picture because he looks like he's praying. So sweet and innocent.

March 2008

These pictures of Jake were taken in March in my parents backyard. He was eating up the attention that day! He's such a happy baby : )

Firefighter Quilt

This is Jake at 5 months on a special quilt that was made for him by the Karam family. It's so cute! It has his name and birthday embroidered on it.
